Brief introduction
Movement for Sosialism (BfS) was founded in 2003.
Our aim is to play a role in uniting and renewing the Norwegian left. We work to make socialist ideas the order of the day, for the left to gain political hegemony.
More specifically, our organisation on one hand functions as a base for studies and free debate, on the other hand we are seeking to inform and generate debate within the general public on some core issues: Anti-war and anti-imperialism, responsible ecological policies, social justice on a local and international level.
Whilst some of our members are not organised in any particular political party, members of all leftist parties of Norway are also represented in our organisation.
